Seminar Policy and Fees

I have been painting and teaching classes for 30 years. I have taught classes throughout the country, including National Conventions, Columbus Mini Conventions, Las Vegas Conventions, OKC Painting Palooza, Canadian Conventions, New England Traditions Convention and many Retreats and Travel Teach Seminars.

Seminars are booked at least six months in advance and are available for week days or week ends. There will be a $250.00 non-refundable deposit required to secure chosen dates, along with a signed teaching contract.

Classes are normally 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Teaching fee is $500.00 per day plus travel, lodging, all meals and travel expense to and from the airports.   If travel to the seminar by private automobile is feasible, the rate of reimbursement would be $.62 cents per mile based on the round trip distance. I am to be responsible for purchasing an Airline ticket (to be reimbursed by the Shop and negotiable with the seminar sponsor) with a reasonable cost incurred. (If an airline ticket has been purchased prior to cancellation of a Seminar the Shop or the group is responsible for the rescheduling fee.) Hotel reservations are to be handled by the sponsor, with final approval by me. The convenience of an attached restaurant to the hotel is definitely appreciated.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, I reserve the right to sell pattern packets, books, and brushes during the seminar. Photos of the designs I am currently teaching are available upon request. As soon as dates are agreed upon and class choices are made, you can notify me and I will send you the supplies list, patterns and prep instructions. You may keep copies of the photos of your chosen projects, but please return the remainder of the photos as soon as your decision has been made. I will provide full, detailed, written instructions of the class projects chosen for all students on the day of the seminar.

When the dates for the seminar have been selected and the contract is signed, this will constitute approval of all terms and fees listed above.

Through a partnership with the ROYAL Brush Company we developed a program to make it affordable for groups to bring in a national teacher who is a ROYAL Ambassador.  The program was developed - and is partially subsidized by ROYAL Brush Company. Early scheduling will insure that your group can truly benefit from this program which has been developed to continue education in decorative painting.
