Bobbie's Blending Do's and Don'ts

Dos

Before using any size of the blenders, "gently" pounce the dome of the brush on some tape to remove any loose hairs in the brush.

Keep the blender dry while in use.........
Apply a larger amount of color to the surface than is customary.......
Stand the blender completely upright during use and pounce – not pull.........
Use the proper size blender to complete an area as quickly as possible.......
Roll the head of the blender on dry paper toweling after each usage…
Pounce the blender with a small amount of pressure......
Be sure you are working on a damp surface......
Clean up with normal brush cleaner or hand sanitizer when finished using the brush.....

Do Not

Try to use the blender wet – (MUST be dry)......
Beat the head of the blender on paper toweling or your hand (the natural hair in the blender will start to break with strong pressure).....
Don't worry if the blender sheds a small amount – all full brushes do.....
Use a small blender in a larger area – or a large blender in a small area....

Blender Brushes Are Not Mops

Blenders are the roughly the shape of a "mop" brush; but please do not confuse the two. Mops are made from all natural hair and are very limp and soft. Blenders have more substance and are a little stiffer because of the natural/synthetic hair mix. Mops softly pull at the paint and a blender softly pounces the paint gradually fading the color away to nothing.
